- 2 x Calibra Universal syr (4.5gm each)
- Preparation: Prepare the tooth structure and the restoration according to standard dental procedures. Ensure that both are clean and free of contaminants.
- Mixing: Dispense the required amount of Calibra Universal Cement from the dual-barreled syringe. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for the appropriate ratio of base and catalyst. Mix thoroughly for the recommended time to ensure proper activation.
- Application: Apply a thin layer of the mixed cement onto the internal surface of the restoration. Ensure even coverage.
- Seating the Restoration: Carefully place the restoration onto the prepared tooth structure, ensuring proper alignment and fit. Apply gentle pressure to seat it firmly.
- Excess Removal: Any excess cement that squeezes out should be removed promptly using dental instruments. Pay special attention to interproximal areas and margins.
- Light-Curing: Calibra Universal Cement may require light curing, depending on the clinical situation. If needed, use a curing light to polymerize the cement according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Cleanup: During the gel phase, which lasts for approximately 45 seconds, you can perform any additional cleanup or adjustments as necessary.
- Final Check: Verify the restoration's occlusion, fit, and esthetics. Make any final adjustments if required.
- Post-Operative Care: Provide post-operative instructions to the patient, including proper oral hygiene and care of the restoration.
