Dentsply Prime & Bond NT 3.5ml
Prime & Bond NT is a universal self-priming adhesive that bonds composites, compomers, metals, and ceramics to enamel and dentine. It combines primer and adhesive in a single bottle, offering excellent bond strength and protection against microleakage. Directions to Use | For all types of restorations:
For an optimum layering thickness:
For indirect restorations:
|
- 1 x 3.5ml Bottle
For all types of restorations:
- Etch dentine for 15 seconds or less.
- Apply Prime&Bond NT to a moist cavity surface to maintain bond strength and minimize post-operative sensitivity. You can dry the surface with short air blasts or blot-dry with a cotton pellet.
- Apply the adhesive directly from the bottle onto an applicator tip.
- Ensure complete sealing of the cavity surface by applying ample amounts of Prime&Bond NT. If needed, apply consecutive drops to wet all cavity surfaces.
For an optimum layering thickness:
- Wait for 20 seconds after applying Prime&Bond NT.
- Remove the remaining solvent by gently blowing air from a dental air syringe. Acetone-based adhesives like Prime&Bond NT are advantageous for easy solvent removal.
For indirect restorations:
- Light-cure Prime&Bond NT or the mix of Prime&Bond NT and Self-Cure Activator applied to the prepared tooth to enhance bond strength.
- Avoid gross pooling of the adhesive during light-curing to maintain a low film thickness.
- In most cases where light-cured or dual-cured luting cement is used, Prime&Bond NT can be used on its own without mixing with Self-Cure Activator.
- For metallic restorations, light-cure the adhesive applied to the restoration prior to luting.
