Dentosys Gumpaint And Mouthwash Gum Paints can be used to provide relief from inflamed and bleeding gums, cold sores, and mouth ulcers. Tannic acid is applied topically for the treatment of cold sores, diaper rash, fever blisters, and poison ivy. Iodine acts as an anesthetic and anti-infective. Menthol acts as a local analgesic and gives a cooling sensation whereas camphor also acts as a local analgesic. Thymol acts as an analgesic and antiseptic. Indications: Painful gum disorders Inflamed and bleeding gums Teething pain and irritation Stomatitis (inflammation of the mucous lining of the mouth) Mechanism: Iodine acts as an antiseptic and anti-infective.
