- Connect the nozzle to the main unit and then to the airotor tubing
- Fill the chamber with air polishing powder.
- Keep the tip of the nozzle at a distance of 3-4 mm from the tooth surface and never directly on the gingival surface.
- For proximal aspects of posterior teeth, the tip should be at an angle of 80º, for occlusal aspects 90º, and for the facial and lingual aspects of anterior teeth 60º.
- The cleaning should be done in small circular motions.
- After polishing, the excess powder should be dumped, the chamber should be brushed off any excess powder and completely air dried.The tubings and holes should be cleaned with a nozzle cleaner
- The unit and nozzle can be autoclaved as per instructions.
