- Preparation: Ensure that your workspace is clean, well-lit, and properly set up for dental procedures.Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and protective eyewear, to ensure safety during the procedure.
- Patient Positioning: Seat the patient comfortably in the dental chair and provide appropriate anesthesia if needed to ensure a painless extraction.
- Instrument Selection: Select the GDC Proxitip-Luxating Hybrid instrument suitable for the specific tooth or teeth requiring extraction. Ensure it is clean and sterilized.
- Extraction Technique: Use the fine, sharp tip of the instrument to access the periodontal ligament around the tooth's root. Gently insert the tip between the bone and the root surface. Apply controlled force to cut the periodontal ligament with precise movements.As you cut the ligament, use the tapered shaft to aid in the controlled expansion of the bony socket.Apply gentle rotational movements and controlled pressure to gradually loosen the tooth from its socket.
