- Using a single-sided Diamond-coated ProxiDisc to open the contact point before removing an old composite restoration.
- Insert the ProxiDisc through the contact point. Rock it back and forth to break through contact.
- The fine diamond coating easily removes cement, while the smooth surface on the opposite side won’t damage the adjacent tooth.
- The separation created after the use of the ProxiDisc is clearly visible.
- After use, stainless steel ProxiDiscs may be cleaned and sterilized for repeated and safer use.
