Lox 2% Jelly is a local anesthetic containing lidocaine as its active ingredient. It is used to reduce and relieve pain and discomfort caused by skin irritation, burns, scratches, insect bites, skin abrasions, or sunburn. It is also indicated for treating post-herpetic neuralgia (nerve pain after shingles) and premature ejaculation. Additionally, it is used as an adjunct for endotracheal intubation and for pain management in urethritis (inflammation of the urethra).
