Preparation:

• Select the appropriate Mani Diamond Bur from the CR Polishing Series for your dental procedure.
• Inspect the bur for any visible damage; do not use if bent or damaged.

Sterilization:

• If not pre-sterilized, sterilize the bur following standard dental instrument sterilization procedures.

Handpiece Connection:

• Insert the bur's shank into the dental handpiece as per the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring it is fully inserted and secure.

Coolant and Lubrication:

• Use a coolant spray during the procedure to prevent overheating and ensure proper cooling with an adequate water supply.

Pressure and RPM:

• Set the pressure between 20 to 50 psi for burs with a diameter up to 023.
• Operate the bur at or below the maximum allowable RPM specified for the Mani Diamond Bur model.

Technique:

• Avoid levering, tilting, twisting, and jamming motions. Use controlled, precise movements.
• Guide the bur gently in the desired direction without using a pulling motion.
