- 1 x Powder 1gm
- 1 x Liquid 2ml
- 1 x Mixing pad
- 1 x Dispensing spoon
- Mixing BioStructure MTA: Mix 1 g of BioStructure MTA powder with 2 ml of liquid at room temperature (18-23°C) and 50±10% humidity for 30-40 seconds until a thick, soft mass forms.
- Pulpotomy: Remove the roof of the pulp chamber and all coronal pulp tissue in primary teeth. Clean and disinfect thoroughly using root canal irrigation. Apply the mixed BioStructure MTA to the pulp floor with a small applicator, remove excess material with a dry cotton pellet, and seal with Glass Ionomer cement.
- Retrograde Root Canal Filling: Under anesthesia, access the tooth root apex by dissecting a mucous supra-bony flap. Perform root apex resection, form a cavity with an ultrasonic tip, and fill it with BioStructure MTA paste. Replace the bone defect with an osteoplastic material and secure the flap with sutures.
- Perforation Closure: Insert BioStructure MTA into the washed and dried perforation site, seal, and verify placement with X-ray. Obturate the remaining canals, isolate with a liner, and restore the tooth crown.
- Root Resorption Treatment: Access the resorption area, prepare the cavity, and fill it with BioStructure MTA mixed with distilled water. Check placement with X-ray, then cover the surface with Glass Ionomer cement.
- Apexification and Apexogenesis: Insert BioStructure MTA into the apical zone, seal with a plunger and cotton ball or paper points, and condense using an ultrasonic handpiece without water spray. Verify placement with X-ray, obturate the remaining canals, and restore the tooth crown.
- Cavity Liner for Recurrent Caries: Apply an antiseptic to the prepared cavity, place a small amount of BioStructure MTA on the exposed site with a spherical applicator, and cover with a temporary material. During the next visit, if healing is observed, remove the temporary material, seal with Glass Ionomer cement, and complete the restoration.
