Directions to Use

Preparation of R.T.R. Syringe:

  • Take the R.T.R. Syringe out of the package and ensure sterility is maintained.
  • Prior to use, confirm that the syringe is intact and undamaged.

Direct Packing into Bone Cavity:

  • Identify the bone cavity where the graft material will be placed.
  • Insert the filter tip of the R.T.R. Syringe directly into the bone cavity.
  • Slowly pull the plunger of the syringe up to draw blood or saline solution into the syringe, ensuring all the granules are soaked.
  • Gently push the plunger down to release any excess liquid.
  • Remove the syringe tip from the bone cavity, and while maintaining aseptic conditions, inject the mixture of granules and liquid into the surgical site by pushing the plunger down.

Mixing in a Dappen Dish:

  • Alternatively, if desired, the granules can be mixed with the patient's blood or saline solution in a sterile Dappen dish.
  • Transfer the required amount of R.T.R. granules from the syringe into the dish using a dental spatula.
  • Add the patient's blood or saline solution to the dish and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
  • Once mixed, use the dental spatula to transfer the prepared mixture onto the operative site.

Closing the Operative Site:

  • After applying the R.T.R. granules, ensure proper coaptation (joining together) of the wound edges.
  • Close the operative site using appropriate suture stitches.

Post-operative Care:

  • Follow post-operative care instructions based on standard clinical practices.
  • Monitor the patient's healing progress and provide necessary follow-up appointments.
